On December 13, 2017, the "SCO Secretariat Women's Activity Center Listing Ceremony" jointly organized by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Redstone Cultural and Art Center was held at the Redstone Cultural and Art Center in Beijing. Secretary General Alimov, Deputy Secretary General Wang Kaiwen, wives of envoys from SCO member states, outstanding female representatives from all over the country and in Beijing; Shen Feng, Chairman of Redstone Cultural and Creative Center, invited guests including Chinese Su embroidery master Yao Jianping, national craft artist Gu Xiujuan, famous painter Qi Baishi's disciple Peng Shumin, famous calligrapher and painter Hai Weng, and famous seal carving master Guo Liuqing; Tang Lunkai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asia Pacific International Holdings Group, Ma Dongli, Executive Director of Myanmar Asia Pacific International Holdings Group, and Zhang Jinzong, Chairman of Fujian Gaodi Ancient Construction Engineering Co., Ltd; Nearly a hundred outstanding domestic entrepreneurs and others attended the listing ceremony.

The unveiling ceremony was presided over by the famous host Ms. Chen Kexin. Chairman Shen Feng first delivered a speech, expressing his great honor that the SCO Secretariat can establish the "SCO Secretariat Women's Activity Center" at the Redstone Cultural and Art Center, actively responding to President Xi Jinping's call to "build a community with a shared future for mankind" in the Belt and Road Initiative, and bringing cultural arts such as Su embroidery, purple clay, cheongsam, rosewood, ancient tea, and porcelain from the Redstone Cultural and Art Center to countries along the Belt and Road through the SCO's "bridge". In the future, more cultural and artistic exchange activities will be held here to promote the profound and extensive Chinese culture and art at the Redstone Cultural and Artistic Center.

The Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Alimov, delivered a speech, pointing out that in recent years, the SCO and the Redstone Cultural and Artistic Center have established a deep friendship, like sunshine and flowers. On the cultural and artistic platform of Redstone Cultural and Artistic Center, we have learned about the profoundness of Chinese culture. The unveiling ceremony held here today marks a substantial leap in the cooperation between the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Redstone Cultural and Artistic Center. He proposed that the wives of the ambassadors of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization take the stage to sign the "Women's Activity Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretariat".

After the unveiling ceremony, Su embroidery master Yao Jianping personally made a Su embroidery work embroidered with the "SCO logo" and presented it to Secretary General Alimov, expressing his best wishes for the SCO. Teacher Yao specially invited Qi Baishi to pass on his disciples and create a calligraphy and painting for Chairman Shen Feng titled 'Shen Feng Takes the Wind, Red Stone Like a Rock', expressing sincere blessings to Chairman Shen Feng and the Red Stone Cultural and Art Center.

Ms. Gu Xiujuan, a national craft artist, carefully selected the most representative purple clay teapot from her numerous works and presented it to the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, hoping to promote China's purple clay culture to the world through the Secretariat. Teacher Haiweng, a calligrapher and painter, presented his work "Yibi Xinjing" to the wives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization envoys.

Mrs. Alimov, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and Mrs. Wang Kaiwen, Deputy Secretary General, represented the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and collected the oil painting "Autumn" by Shen Ruxin (7 years old), daughter of Chairman Shen Feng. In the charity auction, a famous entrepreneur in Xiamen collected the work "Candy Tree" by the talented young woman Shen Ruxin.

The successful unveiling ceremony of the Women's Activity Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretariat has promoted mutual understanding between Chinese women and women from various SCO countries, playing a role as a "bridge and link". The close cooperation between the Women's Activity Center of the SCO Secretariat and the Redstone Cultural and Art Center will promote the relevant activities of the Women's Activity Center of the SCO Secretariat at the Redstone Cultural and Art Center.
